NEW ADVENTURE

Today the kids and I left the house at 9:30. Our first stop was Fairytale Town in Sacramento. Fairytale Town is designed for little kids. There are slides, animals, and all types of things to play on. Carson's Favorites: the crooked mile and feeding the white goat leaves, Cooper's Favorites: Cinderella's pumpkin carriage and the chickens, Emma's Favorites: the slides and the giant piece of cheese. After playing we went across the street to Land Park for a picnic. We played in the leaves and fed the geese and ducks. After our picnic we got in the car and drove 45 minutes to Applehill, just outside of Placerville on the way to Lake Tahoe. Applehill is a group of about 150 farms, orchards, and wineries open to the public. We only had time to stop at 3 farms, but they each offered something different. It was a very cool place. We got home at 7 tonight. We drove 200 miles in all. It was a great day. No whining, no fighting! They are such little troopers. Carson always has his copy of the map and likes to help us find our way. They are up for anything!!!!
