TIDEPOOLS

Josh wanted to go see the tidepools the kids and I went to last weekend. The tide was really high so we couldn't see the tidepools. However, there were alot of seals swimming right along the beach. They were so close! It was really cool.

37 DAYS!

Only 37 days until our first family trip! Everyone is really excited!! We will be going to Monterey, Pismo Beach, Long Beach, Disneyland, Palm Springs, and San Diego! Carson is so excited to go back to Disneyland. He talks about it all the time. He remembers so much about our last visit. He has quite the memory!!! Josh has not been to Disneyland with the kids yet, so that will be fun. Emma also has not been there yet. I think she will have fun on the rides. That is what is great about Disneyland. All the kids can go on so many rides! I think the boys like meeting the characters more, but they love to go on rides also. Anyway, it should be an awesome trip!

THIS WEEKEND

We will be going to San Francisco this weekend. It has been 100° and hotter all week. We are looking forward to some cooler weather! It should be fun. This will be the first time all 5 of us have stayed in a hotel together. It will be sort of a trial run for our big Southern California trip next month. We'll see how Emma does. I'm sure she will be wonderful as always! Expect pictures Sunday night or Monday.

AIRSHOW

Josh took the boys to an airshow last Sunday. The boys had a great time watching the "fast", "huge" and "loud" (Carson's words) airplanes. They stayed as long as they could, but you can tell by the redness of their faces it was hot.

Yesterday I decided to take the kids to the beach, ALL BY MYSELF. We went to Half Moon Bay, Moss Beach, and Pacifica. (Just south of San Francisco) The kids were really great. Josh thought I was crazy. We had so much fun together. The weather was perfect! We will have to do it again!

Tidepools

We had so much fun walking around the tidepools. The boys loved jumping and climbing around the rocks. They did really well considering it was really slippery. We found lots of crabs and little fish. The boys were so excited!

PACIFICA BEACH

After the tidepools we went to play at the beach. The boys dug in the sand and splashed in the waves. Emma had her first taste of sand. We have a great afternoon playing!

NEW PARK

Yesterday we were going to go to the park but there were so many people there. We decided to drive around and find a different one. This new park we found is so much better. There is a ton of shade and grassy areas. The kids had a great time running around and playing.
